The Colombian government is putting the kibosh on a luxury, raunchy retreat advertised to fill its attendees with alcohol, hard drugs, and an endless stream of sex from prostitutes.
Maxim reports that the Good Girls Company was planning to fly 30 guests to a private island off the coast of Catagena, Colombia, for four days of endless partying. But Cartagena’s Interim Mayor Sergio Londoño Zurek took to Twitter to make it clear where the government stands on the getaway.
Inaceptable que nos quieran vender como un destino sexual. Ese no es el turismo que representamos. #PorCartagena no lo permitiremos.

Maxim translated the statement from Spanish to English: “Unacceptable that they want to sell us as a sexual destination. That is not the tourism we represent.”
The outlet also reported that Colombia’s interior minister Fernando Niño said the government isn’t going to grant Sex Island the permission it needs to move forward with organizing—even reportedly threatening to deport anyone attempting to visit.
