At some point I learned to love chinos. What I once thought of as dad pants became an everyday staple — they’re dressier and more comfortable than denim, but also casual and versatile enough to go from work to play (basically, they’re the lazy man’s pants for all occasions).

So I plan to take advantage of the latest Nordstrom Rack flash sale on chinos, which includes brands I genuinely like (Bonobos, Ben Sherman, Vince, Levi’s, J.Crew) and feature pants prices starting at just $20.

Plenty of colors, styles (micro-check, pinstripe, etc.) and fits (straight, slim) are available. Sizing is admittedly all over the place, but you’re bound to find something you like. Three we particularly dig:
