Actor George Takei (a.k.a. Mr. Sulu on Star Trek) is offering 20 Trekkies the chance to join him on a zero-gravity flight to celebrate the original TV series’ 50th anniversary on Aug. 4. Participants will don flight suits and board a custom modified Boeing 727, in which they will be able to “experience true weightlessness and an exhilarating freedom from Earth’s pull,” according to event organizers, Roddenberry Adventures.
