In an April Fools’ Day prank the rest of the NFL wishes was real, Tom Brady joined Twitter to formally announce his retirement.
“I’m retiring,” Brady wrote. “In my spare time, I’ll be tweeting #LFG.”
But, few were really buying it.

Later, after more people chirped at him about the post, Brady, whose bio simply reads “Family and Football,” responded: “Was this a bad joke?”
It certainly wasn’t a good one. But, since he’s new to Twitter and just won the Super Bowl for the sixth time, we’ll allow it.
