The selection process has a wide range of issues. For one, there is confusion over how the museum wants voters to handle steroid cases. There are also disagreements between Hall leadership and writers over ballot proceedings. There is a notion that today’s voters judge more harshly than previous years, but The Ringer says that’s not true. What is true, is that the BBWAA is not the only body charged with electing Hall of Famers.
