Novitec's Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce Is Ridiculous

Given that superveloce is Italian for “superfast,” most people would be content when presented with a 740-HP Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce.

The folks at Novitec aren’t most people.

After taking charge of an Aventador, the German firm — which also fine-tunes supercars from Ferrari, Rolls-Royce and Maserati — recently sicced engineers from their Torado division on the V12-powered supercar.

In order to improve upon the Aventador’s already impressive 217-MPH top speed, the Torado division made a number of aerodynamic improvements to the SV’s body, upgraded its engine software and exhaust system, and persuaded luxury rim maker Vossen to created a set of 20- and 21-inch six-spoke wheels.

The improvements gave Novitec’s model an 35 extra horses under the hood, thereby cementing its status as a bedroom-wall pinup.

Hubba, hubba. Or, better yet, hubsche.
