The MITI-001 Fire Torch is a New Swedish Fire Torch

A classic design that’ll bring out your inner lumberjack, the MITI-001 Fire Torch weights just 2.5 pounds and comes with four stabilizing rods that helps anchor it on a log dutifully split into quarters.

Produced in Canada, the MITI-001 is an ideal fit for getting a fire started when the ground is wet or covered in snow, and only requires a limited amount of kindling to get going. That said, if you’re not comfortable swinging an axe, the grill probably isn’t for you.

If you are, however, Amazon is selling the MITI-001 Fire Torch for just under $70.

Should you get one, here are some camping-ready recipes for your next outdoor excursion.
