The “Peerless Spirit” decanter, the final released in “The Macallan in Lalique Six Pillars” collection, features a 65-year-old whiskey, one of the oldest and rarest ever released by the Scottish distillery. The decanter has been limited to just 450 individually numbered examples, and was designed by the legendary French crystal house Lalique. With a dark walnut color, the “Peerless Spirit” includes notes of honey-dipped Madagascan vanilla pods, cinnamon, and Moroccan dates. The 65-year-old single malt has a medium body with hints of black pepper, cloves, and toasted cocoa beans. The finish includes flavors of honey and dark chocolate. The “Peerless Spirit” decanter will retail for about $35,000. For purchasing inquiries, email: inquiries.us@themacallan.com.
