Kingsman: The Secret Service is a movie about dapper British spies. The sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, is about their US counterparts: the Statesmen. Esquire writes that the Statesmen are modeled after the most masculine archetype in all America: the cowboy.
So clearly, Channing Tatum is involved. The movie is out in theaters this weekend. A new clip shows Taron Egerton’s character, Eggsy, and Mark Strong’s character, Merlin, meet Tatum, who plays Agent Tequila, for the first time. In it, Tatum is a shotgun-wielding, cowboy hat-wearing spy. Check out the clip above.
