This Superyacht Is Tough Enough to Conquer Earth’s Coldest Waters

The yacht also comes with a submarine, helicopter and plane, in case you were wondering.

This yacht uses luxury, but that’s not even the best thing about it. The Ida Pfeiffer ice-class superyacht can safely conquer the coldest seas on Earth. Globe Regal designed the concept ship with a diesel-electric propulsion system that is capable of making 7,000-mile journeys through treacherous iceberg-laden waters. The yacht measures at 230 feet, and comes equipped with an H135 Airbus helicopter, two 45-foot tenders, an Icon water plane or a Triton submarine. Onboard accommodations offer first-class cabins for 14 guests, 15 crew and an extra-luxe owner’s suite, reports Maxim. Two rescue boats can be deployed for an emergency evacuation in case the worst case scenario happens.

The Ida Pfeiffer does not have a set price yet, Maxim writes, but you can expect to spend over $100,000 million to commission one from Dörries Yachts.
