Samuel L. Jackson might be best known for his various “trunk shots” in Quentin Tarantino movies. But he’s arguably become one of the best actors of his generation, playing an eclectic range of characters on the silver screen—characters that only he could own. This includes his portrayal in the most recent Tarzan film, George Washington Williams, based on a real historical figure.
