There first was talk of drone pizza deliveries, now there’s talk of drone shipping freighters. Luxury automaker Rolls-Royce has launched a futuristic project that would open remote-control centers and teams that could control a global fleet of fully autonomous, unmanned cargo ships. The crew of controllers would number anywhere from 7-14 people, and control an entire fleet of vessels. Additionally, they’d have access to interactive smart screens, voice-recognition tools, holograms, and surveillance drones to get the job done.
