Blind Backflip Over a Race Car? Sure. What the Hell.

File under things not to try at home

Even if you have access to a Formula E race car, don’t try this at home. Seriously.

Ahead of the Paris ePrix, Damien Walters, a stuntman who has filled in for Daniel Craig (Skyfall) and Michael Fassbender (Assassin’s Creed), pulled off a blind backflip. Over a race car. A race car traveling at 60 MPH.

It is at once the most impressive and boneheaded thing you’ll see this week.

“I’ve done loads of dangerous stunts in my career, but I’ve got to admit that I’ve never been as nervous as I was for this one,” Walters said afterwards. “I’m thrilled with how it worked out.”

It’s easy to see why.
