You Could Buy a Family Car, or You Could Buy This Hand-Crafted Roadster

What has four cylinders, three wheels, two seats, one wooden steering wheel and is, in a word, awesome?

That’d be the 2017 Venice Roadster from Utah-based Vanderhall Motor Works.

Meant to be a more affordable version of Vanderhall’s pricier models, the Venice’s turbocharged engine, 130 MPH top speed and sub-five-second 0-60 time offers lots of bang for fewer bucks.

Riding at just 4.5 inches off the ground and with an open-top composite body that puts the great outdoors right at its owner’s fingertips, the vintage Venice does have cushy comforts like power steering, heated seats, LED headlights and a Bluetooth-connected premium sound system.

Available in charcoal, black, and pearl white, the handbuilt three-wheeler “out-handles most sports cars and stops quicker than many superbikes” and is available starting at $29,950.

Reserve one for only $250 and then wipe that smug look off your face. Or don’t.
