Just a Guy Drifting at 14,000 Feet in a ’65 Mustang, NBD

Pro rally driver Ken Block would like you to eat his dust

What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?

When the force is fully certified Mustang maniac Ken Block and the object turns out to be 14,115-foot-tall Pikes Peak in Colorado, what happens is the online equivalent of must-see TV.

Unveiled by the world-class rally driver as the latest installment of his Gymkhana series, Climbkhana: Pikes Peak is 10 minutes of death-defying drifts, donuts and handbrake turns featuring Block behind the wheel of a 1,400-HP twin-turbo ‘65 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR V2.

Showcasing the wide array of Block’s driving skills — including a razor’s edge turn Block called the “wildest, scariest corner that I have ever slid in my life” — the visuals in the video look great and the soundtrack provided by the Stang’s methanol-powered engine ain’t too shabby either.

Long live Block and roll.
