This Jaw-Dropping New Roadster Is Coming to America

You will drop some money, of course, but you will do so gladly

On the subject of the Jannarelly Design-1 roadster, we possess both good news and bad news.

The good: a distribution deal with VanDouble Enterprises will be bringing the car to America.

The bad: despite initially quoting a price of $55,000 for the car, that figure has jumped to $84k.

The reason for the price jump is unclear, but paying the extra $29,000 does ensure buyers can get a street-legal Design-1 imported and registered without going to the Middle East or Europe.

While the cost increase for the Jannarelly creation — which, to recap, does 0-to-60 in less than four seconds and tops out at 135 MPH — could hurt sales, we’d wager they’ll be strong like bull.

If you’re on the fence about contacting VanDouble for a Design-1, just listen to one of them purr.
