Combining a modified flat-four engine from a ‘66 Volkswagen, a body by ‘60s-era coachbuilder Boss, taillights from an early Mustang taillights and genuine Fuchs wheels, this two-seat beach buggy is the flower power generation car-sonified.
With a number of touch-ups including a rebuilt chassis, new Khumo Ecstas tires and retooled four-speed transmission, the Volkswagen Boss Buggy has its fair share of modern flair as well.
Despite all that, its owner — who’s responsible for the modified make — is looking to send the vehicle on to sandier beaches and has it on the block for the next five days.
